Guerlain Launches Ocean Wellness Retreat Aboard Orient Express

Orient Express Sailing Yachts and Guerlain have unveiled Ocean Rebirth, a fourteen-night wellness retreat set to take place aboard the Orient Express Corinthian. The voyage will traverse the Atlantic between Lisbon and Bridgetown, with a scheduled stop in Ponta Delgada, Azores. The experience runs from October 12 to 26, 2026, offering guests the option to join the full journey or select a shorter segment.

Departures from Lisbon to Ponta Delgada last three nights, while the longer leg from Ponta Delgada to Bridgetown spans eleven nights. Conceived as a retreat at sea, Ocean Rebirth transforms the time spent crossing the Atlantic into a privileged setting in which to slow down, reconnect with oneself and explore a new approach to regeneration, guided by a deeply holistic vision.

A Holistic Programme at Sea

Guests will follow a full renewal programme developed by Guerlain experts. The initiative is built on four pillars: nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and sleep. The retreat emphasizes prevention and longevity through a personalized approach. Before the voyage begins, a pre-journey assessment helps design a custom itinerary. Specialists will guide guests through individual consultations, small-group workshops, and guided sessions throughout the crossing. This approach comes to life through the five areas of expertise brought together on board: Amélie Demange, Slav Marinov, Charles Ferreux, Annabelle Deridder, and Déborah Passuti.

Dining plays a central role in the experience. The menu features culinary creations by Yannick Alléno, the world’s most Michelin-starred chef, in collaboration with naturopath Déborah Passuti. The dishes are organized into three intentions: “Timeless Glow,” “Pure Reset,” and “Vitality Boost.” This allows guests to select meals that align with their current needs. The program also includes a signature Longevity Breakfast and explorations of regenerative nutrition and honey, a key ingredient for the cosmetics house. Ocean Rebirth brings together gastronomy and the life sciences in a subtle interplay, placing culinary emotion at its heart. Each dish awakens the senses while supporting balance and the body’s natural regenerative mechanisms.

The wellness offerings extend to specialized equipment. Guests can access LongeviSkin, a device that combines seven aesthetic technologies, including LED, plasma, and radiofrequency. The onboard toolkit also includes Technogym Check-up assessments, pressotherapy, LED masks, and Theragun recovery devices. At the heart of the programme, LongeviSkin, Guerlain’s unique device, combines seven leading aesthetic technologies for the first time, including LED, plasma and radiofrequency. Throughout the days at sea, five specialists from the Guerlain Wellness Expert Committee will lead complementary experiences. These include breathwork, crystal bowl sound baths, deep-tissue massages, and movement sessions.

Wellness programmes often struggle to maintain their benefits once guests leave the retreat environment. This voyage attempts to solve that issue by integrating the Atlantic crossing into the treatment plan. The emphasis on education—masterclasses and personalized coaching—aims to give guests practical tools for daily life. The combination of elite culinary expertise and medical-grade recovery technology creates a rare intersection of luxury and performance medicine. The retreat will return to the Atlantic in 2027. From March 13 to 27, the vessel will sail from Bridgetown to Lisbon with a two-day stop in Ponta Delgada. Guests can join the full route or choose one of two shorter stages, departing on March 13 or March 24.

Return Voyage in 2027

The return leg of the Atlantic journey will take place from March 13 to 27, 2027. This schedule provides another opportunity for guests to experience the full renewal programme developed by the Guerlain teams. The focus remains on prevention and longevity through the four pillars of nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and sleep. Ocean Rebirth continues its return journey from Bridgetown to Lisbon, with a two-day stop in Ponta Delgada, the Azores.
